Ecological Entomology, Volume 51, Issue 3, Page 475-488, June 2026.Using multiple infected and uninfected Drosophila sturtevanti lines, we investigated (i) the impact of Wolbachia on fecundity and (ii) its effects relative to antibiotic treatment. Based on over 1680 dissected ovaries, fecundity was similar between infected and uninfected flies.

Journal of Ecology, Volume 114, Issue 5, May 2026.Along with precipitation, forest cover emerges as a fundamental driver of alpha and beta diversity in the seed rain. This highlights the role of habitat amount at the landscape level over patch‐level features, like patch size, for seed dispersal. However, increased seed density can be related to higher dispersal rates in forest borders.

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 9, March 5, 2026.PLA and strontium‐substituted hydroxyapatite filaments were used in 3D printing to fabricate a trabecular‐inspired scaffold. The scaffold was functionalized with a polydopamine coating. Characterization revealed enhanced surface properties and mechanical performance, supporting its potential application in bone tissue engineering.
