An annotated catalogue of the Procridinae of the World (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae)
Almost 90 years have passed after the last publication of a catalogue of the family Zygaenidae of the world (Bryk, 1936). At that time there was no correct understanding of the taxonomic, genetic and ecological framework of the subfamily Procridinae ...

Drastic decline of extensive grassland species in Central Europe since 1950: Forester moths of the genus Jordanita (Lepidoptera, Zygaenidae) as a type example. [PDF]
Jordanita species (Lepidoptera) as a proxy for grassland species in general show a strong decline in Central Europe since 1950 which is mainly related to changing agricultural landuse and destruction of habitats. This article reviews thousands of observations, shows the decline and discusses the reasons in detail.

Mitochondrial genomes of four slug moths (Lepidoptera, Limacodidae): Genome description and phylogenetic implications. [PDF]
In this study, we sequenced the mitochondrial genomes of Parasa lepida, Phlossa conjuncta, Thosea sinensis, and Setora sinensis, and performed the first comparative genomic analyses of Limacodidae. The use of the ATT start codon by the cox1 gene in P. lepida is the first documented use of this start codon in Limacodidae mitogenomes. Within Zygaenoidea,
