Distance antimagic labelings of product graphs
A graph G is distance antimagic if there is a bijection f : V(G)→{1, 2, …, |V(G)|} such that for every pair of distinct vertices x and y applies w(x)≠w(y), where w(x)=Σ z ∈ N(x)f(z) and N(x) is the neighbourhood of x, i.e., the set of all vertices ...

ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell anemia (SCA) in low‐income settings are at risk of severe malnutrition, but optimal nutritional management has not been established. We evaluated an intensified ready‐to‐use therapeutic food (RUTF) regimen in children with persistent severe malnutrition after initial treatment and assessed whether early ...

ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Labeling of Cosmetic Products [PDF]
The labeling of cosmetic products provides a set of obligations, as reported in the Regulation 1223/2009, which came into force in Europe in July 2013. The indications reported on the label are intended to enable the clear identification of the functionality and proper use of cosmetics, ensure the protection of the consumer from the commercial aspects ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

On the Graceful Cartesian Product of Alpha-Trees
A \emph{graceful labeling} of a graph $G$ of size $n$ is an injective assignment of integers from the set $\{0,1,\dots,n\}$ to the vertices of $G$ such that when each edge has assigned a \emph{weight}, given by the absolute value of the difference of the

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

3-total edge product cordial labeling of rhombic grid
For a simple graph G=(V(G),E(G)), this paper deals with the existence of an edge labeling χ:E(G)→{0,1,…,k−1},2≤k≤|E(G)|, which induces a vertex labeling χ∗:V(G)→{0,1,…,k−1}in such a way that for each vertex v, assigns the label χ(e1)⋅χ(e2)⋅⋯⋅χ(en)((modk))
