MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF GROSS PRODUCT

SCIENCE EDUCATION PRACTICE
The aim of the work is to obtain analytical dependence of gross domestic product on changes in the main factors of production: labor resources, physical capital and natural resources. Based on the apparatus of vector analysis, an integro-differential equation for the change in the gross product was obtained.

Mathematical Artifact Production: Broadening the View of “Doing Mathematics”

2004
In this paper we briefly consider the notion of doing mathematics. Based on some shortcomings of this movement, it is proposed that doing mathematics should be broadened to mathematical artifact production. This idea is explained and some insights are presented of the discoordinations South African teachers encounter when they engage in mathematics ...

Mathematical Aspects of Leonardo’s Production in Milan

2020
Leonardo da Vinci is traditionally considered as one of the most notable guests in Milan, of all times. The opportunity to consider this important protagonist of the Renaissance, artist and scientist at the same time, leads us to analyze more closely the period he spent in Milan at the Sforza Court. Particularly we refer to the works carried out by him

Mathematical performance analysis of product networks

2007 International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Systems, 2007
In this paper, we propose the first comprehensive mathematical performance model for product networks where fully adaptive routing is applied. Besides the generality of this model which makes it suitable to be used for any product graph, our analysis shows that the proposed model exhibits high accuracy. Simulation results show the validity and accuracy

Mathematics learning and aesthetic production

ZDM, 2008
Some teaching projects in which the learning of mathematics was combined with mainly theatrical productions are reported on. They are related and opposed to an approach of drama in education by Pesci and the proposals of Sinclair for mathematics teaching and beauty.

Mathematical Theory of Production Planning.

Journal of the Operational Research Society, 1984
The book proposes a unified mathematical treatment of production planning and production smoothing problems, in the framework of optimal control theory. General concave and convex cost models which relate most closely to real life applications are considered. Planning horizon results are always central to the discussion and developments.

Mathematics for Production and War

The Mathematics Teacher, 1943
The advent of the present war and its consequent demand for greatly accelerated production of the materials of peace and war has forcefully redirected many elements of the thinking of the American people. The highly technical character of the warfare and the complicated structure of the implements used have combined to create an urgent, if not ...

Mathematical Model of Clonal Selection and Antibody Production

Nature, 1970
Equations are developed to describe the effects of interaction between antigen and target cell. The model shows promise in predicting the constants of simple experimental systems.
