Quantization and non-holomorphic modular forms [PDF]
This is a new approach to the theory of non-holomorphic modular forms, based on ideas from quantization theory or pseudodifferential analysis. Extending the Rankin-Selberg method so as to apply it to the calculation of the Roelcke-Selberg decomposition ...

On solving periodic Riccati equations [PDF]
Numerically reliable algorithms to compute the periodic non-negative definite stabilizing solutions of the periodic differential Riccati equation (PRDE) and discrete-time periodic Riccati equation (DPRE) are proposed. For the numerical solution of PRDEs,

A unified non-linear system model view of hyperelasticity, viscoelasticity and hysteresis exhibited by rubber [PDF]
Rubber modeling is an old subject and so many models exist that it is difficult to have a clear vision of what exists and is more appropriate. Rather than attempting a standard review, this paper proposes classification using the traditional system ...

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Time-Resolved Fluorescence Investigation of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 Nucleocapsid Protein: Influence of the Binding of Nucleic Acids [PDF]
Depending on the HIV-1 isolate, MN or BH10, the nucleocapsid protein, NCp7, corresponds to a 55- or 71-amino acid length product, respectively. The MN NCp7 contains a single Trp residue at position 37 in the distal zinc finger motif, and the BH10 NCp7 ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

F-threshold functions: syzygy gap fractals and the two-variable homogeneous case [PDF]
In this article we study F-pure thresholds (and, more generally, F-thresholds) of homogeneous polynomials in two variables over a field of characteristic p> 0.
