The Time Augmented Cobb-Douglas Production Function
The main objective of this paper is to propose and verify a time augmentation of the Cobb-Douglas production function parameters which should be able to capture changing conditions over time.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Relating the Knowledge Production Function to Total Factor Productivity: An Endogenous Growth Puzzle [PDF]
The knowledge production function is central to research and development-based growth models. This paper empirically investigates the knowledge production function and intertemporal spillover effects using cointegration techniques.

Assessing the effects of measurement errors on the estimation of the production function [PDF]
This article explores the reasons why GMM estimators of production function parameters are generally found to produce unsatisfactory results. I attribute this finding to the inaccurate construction of the variables used in production function analysis ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

The normalized CES production function: theory and empirics [PDF]
The elasticity of substitution between capital and labor and, in turn, the direction of technical change are critical parameters in many fields of economics.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Cobb-Douglas Production Function: The Case of a Converging Economy [PDF]
The Cobb-Douglas production function is often used to analyse the supply-side performance and measurement of a country’s productive potential. This functional form, however, includes the assumption of a constant share of labor in output, which may be too

Analysis of the Methodology of Constructing a Production Function Using Quality Criteria
In the article to forecast the trends of development of the state’s industry (for example, Ukraine), a method for evaluating the parameters included in the classical Cobb-Douglas formula is developed.

Factors influencing the economics of the pork meat production
The research of the influence of the relevant factors and their interrelations on the economics of the pork meat production on a farm has been carried out with the help of the method of production functions (factor - product and factor - factor).
