Pre‐Regenerative Endothelial Cells Empowered by Antler Blood Exosomes Orchestrate Peripheral Nerve Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The pre‐regenerative vascular niche (PVN) is essential for nerve repair, yet its endothelial blueprint remains unclear. We identified angiogenic ECs (AECs) as the dominant pre‐regenerative subset and found that antler blood–derived exosomes (AB‐EXO) promote repair via IMP3.

VERTICAL INTEGRATION IN AGRICULTURE AND CONTRACT FARMING [PDF]

open access: yes
It has been widely argued recently that agriculture is undergoing a process of vertical integration with allied industries. One of the worldwide ways of vertical integration in agriculture is contract farming.

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

Marketing Agreement, Food Safety and Contract Design [PDF]

open access: yes
Recent outbreaks of food-borne illness related to fruit and vegetables have led to increased concerns about the safety of produce. In response, the industry has adopted marketing agreements to ensure consistency of product safety.

In Situ Genetic Engineering Facilitates MMP‐9‐Responsive TIMP1 Release Through Proteolytic Cleavage to Boost Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops an MMP‐9‐responsive protein release system that transforms resident cells into drug depots through in situ genetic engineering. Anchored to the membrane, the therapeutic protein TIMP1 is selectively released upon MMP‐9 cleavage.

Employee Stock Ownership vs. Profit Sharing [PDF]

open access: yes
The idea that profit sharing increases employment has been widely tested, but the theoretical basis for the claim is weak and the empirical results are ambiguous. This paper shows that employee stock ownership based on individually-held stakes avoids the

Magnetoelectric Nanoparticle‐Based Wireless Brain–Computer Interface: Underlying Physics and Projected Technology Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) enable fully wireless, minutely invasive neuromodulation, and potentially neural recording, by converting magnetic into electric and, conversely, electric into magnetic fields, respectively, at high spatiotemporal resolution.
