An audit on the professional intervention of smoking

Abstract: Smoking accompanies recognized health risks. It is the dental practitioner's duty to provide professional intervention as recommended by Public Health England. This article describes an audit that aimed to measure the professional intervention provided by dentists, compare this to standards and to improve the amount of intervention.

This report summarizes and compares the views of expert groups of lawyers, psychotherapists, and clergy on the divorcing process and the role of the professional in assisting the divorcing. There was considerably greater difference of opinion on these issues among the lawyers than among either the therapists or clergy.
