Production Profiles On Deviated Multiphase Producers

Annual Technical Meeting, 1983
Abstract Production logs play a significant role in the implementation, evaluation and surveillance of enhanced recovery schemes. Maximizing scheme efficiency through the refinement of depletion strategies, improvements on completion effectiveness, and problem well diagnosis is based on a quantitative downhole look ...

A gait index may underestimate changes of gait: a comparison of the Movement Deviation Profile and the Gait Deviation Index

Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering, 2013
The ability of the Movement Deviation Profile (MDP) and Gait Deviation Index (GDI) to detect gait changes was compared in a child with cerebral palsy who underwent game training. Conventional gait analysis showed that sagittal plane angles became mirrored about normality after training.

Sustainability of religious travel and tourism: a profile deviation perspective

Journal of Islamic Marketing, 2022
Purpose In recent days, there has been an increasing interest towards achieving sustainable tourism objectives globally and specifically in Saudi Arabia. The benefits can be maximized if the government is successful in attracting current pilgrims and influence their future intention to revisit the country as tourists.

Errors in the photometric determination of the standard deviation of a surface profile

Measurement Techniques, 1995
A comparative analysis is presented of the precision parameters of different variants of the photometric method of measuring the standard deviation from surface profiles R{sub q}. A variant by means of which the maximal precision of measuring R{sub q} over a broad range of values is determined.

Interferometric measurement of profile deviations of large precision mirrors

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
In numerous interferometric applications of nanopositioning and nanomeasuring technology, plane mirrors are used as flatness or straightness standards for the movement of a positioning device. During this process, the shape deviations of the mirrors used lead to systematic errors of the position measurements, which can be corrected in later ...

The Role of Fit on Business Performance: A Profile Deviation Analysis

2009 International Conference on New Trends in Information and Service Science, 2009
Knowledge management (KM) has been regarded as a popular research topic for the industry and academicians in these years. Some scholars mentioned that human resource management plays an important role in implementing knowledge management. Furthermore, the importance of information technology (IT) as a tool to facilitate effective knowledge management ...

Pulse broadening caused by deviations from the optimal index profile

Applied Optics, 1976
The excess pulse broadening caused by deviations from the optimal index profile is analyzed for multimode optical fibers. First-order perturbation theory is used to evaluate the effects of arbitrary index perturbations having longitudinal spatial frequencies which are too low to cause mode coupling. A simplified expression is found for the excess pulse

Dislocation-Induced Deviation of Phosphorus-Diffusion Profiles in Silicon

IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1966
Deviation of phosphorus-impurity profiles in silicon from ideal ones under the diffusion condition surface concentrations is well known. Diffusion of high concentrations of phosphorus is also known to cause generation of dislocations with edge character in silicon wafer surfaces.

Influence of Tooth Profile Deviations on Helical Gear Wear

Journal of Mechanical Design, 2004
In this study, a surface wear prediction model for helical gears pairs is employed to investigate the influence of tooth profile deviations in the form of intentional tooth profile modifications or manufacturing errors on gear tooth surface wear. The wear model combines a finite-element-based gear contact mechanics model that predicts contact pressures,

Regulatory assessment of drug dissolution profiles comparability via maximum deviation

Statistics in Medicine, 2018
In drug development, comparability of dissolution profiles of 2 different formulations is usually assessed using the similarity factor f2. In practice, the drug dissolution profiles are deemed similar if the f2 exceeds 50, which occurs when a 10% maximum difference in the mean percentage of the dissolved drug at each time point between test and ...
