Metastatic niche shaped by host factors influences disseminated cancer cell fate
Metastasis is shaped not only by cancer cells but also by the environments they encounter. This review explores how factors such as aging, diet, the microbiome, lifestyle, and environmental exposures remodel organ‐specific niches in the lung, liver, bone, and brain, influencing where metastatic cells survive, remain dormant, or grow, and ultimately ...

An Instruction Sequence Semigroup with Involutive Anti-Automorphisms [PDF]
We introduce an algebra of instruction sequences by presenting a semigroup C in which programs can be represented without directional bias: in terms of the next instruction to be executed, C has both forward and backward instructions and a C-expression ...

Smaller is better: nanobodies meet NMR
Nanobodies are single‐domain antigen‐binding fragments derived from camelid heavy chain antibodies. Their small size, high stability, and exceptional specificity make nanobodies uniquely useful probes for NMR studies of protein dynamics, transient conformational states, and protein–protein interactions.

THE EVOLUTIONARY APPROACH TO FORMATION OF THE PROGRAM OF DEVELOPMENT OF NEW OIL-AND-GAS REGION [PDF]
Specificity of the program approach to development of resources of hydrocarbonic raw material is reflected in the article. It is shown, that change of properties and conditions of functioning of objects of program management demands external managing ...

Neutralization of the PTX3/CD44 axis suppresses TGF‐β1 signaling in kidney fibrosis
This study investigates how the PTX3/CD44 axis promotes kidney fibrosis by activating TGF‐β1 signaling. We demonstrate that the neutralizing antibody WHC‐001 effectively inhibits this pathway, suppressing myofibroblast activation and partial epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT).

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

On the future of Higgs, electroweak and diboson measurements at lepton colliders
LEP precision on electroweak measurements was sufficient not to hamper the extraction of Higgs couplings at the LHC. But the foreseen permille-level Higgs measure- ments at future lepton colliders might suffer from parametric electroweak uncertainties in

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Extracting Non-Deterministic Concurrent Programs.
We introduce an extension of intuitionistic fixed point logic by a modal operator facilitating the extraction of non-deterministic concurrent programs from proofs. We apply this extension to program extraction in computable analysis, more precisely, to computing with Tsuiki's infinite Gray code for real numbers.
