A Reliable Framework for Batch Reactor State Response Forecasting

open access: yesIEEE Access
Reliable automation of industrial nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) batch reactors remains challenging because operator interventions can abruptly change future temperature trajectories and conventional surrogate models rarely indicate when forecasts are ...

A single fault localization technique based on failed test input

open access: yesArray, 2019
Testing and debugging are very important tasks in software development. Fault localization is a very critical activity in the debugging process and also is one of the most difficult and time-consuming activities.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Sudden Concept Drift Detection and Adaptation in Virtual Metrology for Semiconductor Manufacturing

open access: yesIEEE Access
Virtual metrology (VM) has emerged as a promising technology for semiconductor manufacturing; however, abrupt changes in production conditions can significantly degrade prediction accuracy. Therefore, detecting sudden concept drift becomes crucial. Micro

A Program Recognition and Auto-Testing Approach [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2003
The goals of the software testing are to assess and improve the quality of the software. An important problem in software testing is to determine whether a program has been tested enough with a testing criterion.

Introduction to an Open Source Internet-Based Testing Program for Medical Student Examinations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions, 2009
The author developed a freely available open source internet-based testing program for medical examination. PHP and Java script were used as the programming language and postgreSQL as the database management system on an Apache web server and Linux ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
