Se registra por primera vez, para la Costa Caribe de Colombia, la presencia de Lutzomyia longipalpis (Lutz & Neiva, 1912), L. shannoni (Dyar, 1929), L. micropyga (Mangabeira, 1942) y L. atroclavata (Knab, 1913), en los alrededores de un núcleo urbano.

Mapping ecological corridors in the Upper Paraguay River Basin, Brazil: Applications for sustainability, public policy and decision‐making

We identified and mapped ecological corridors on a regional scale for the entire upper paragauai basin, which is one of the largest basins in Brazil. Our results were an extensive network of corridors across the basin, as well as identifying areas for better connectivity.

Lake Metacommunity Structures Are Consistent Among Ecoregions and Taxonomic Groups Across the United States

ABSTRACT The distribution of organisms on Earth is spatially structured. One way to analyse the spatial organisation of biological assemblages is through the elements of metacommunity structure (EMS). The EMS classifies metacommunities based on beta diversity patterns and can elucidate how the assemblages respond to environmental gradients.
