EAGLE:A Network Telemetry Mechanism Based on Telemetry Data Graph in Kernel and UserMode [PDF]
Network telemetry is a new type of network measurement technology, which has the characteristics of strong real-time performance, high accuracy and low overhead.Existing network telemetry technologies have problems such as being unable to collect multi ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Some Controversial Opinions on Software-Defined Data Plane Services [PDF]
Several recent proposals, namely Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Network Service Chaining (NSC), aim to transform the network into a programmable platform, focusing respectively on the control plane (SDN) and ...

On offloading control plane applications to the data plane [PDF]
One of the most active areas in computer networking is Software Defined Networking (SDN). SDN separates the two core functions of a network element (e.g., router): the control-plane and the data-plane.

Utility-based sampling rate allocation in in-band network telemetry for high network visibility
In-band network telemetry (INT) is one of the promising technologies for achieving fine-grained and real-time visibility into the network, however, it brings non-negligible traffic overhead due to the increased packet length.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
