Synergistic Ultrasound‐Photo Enhancement of Ferroelectric Catalysis via Molecular Multiferroics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the first use of molecular multiferroic DEFM‐FeBr4 as an efficient catalyst for alkane oxidation using O2. Synergistic ultrasound and light activation enable outstanding performance, achieving a TON of 1942—29 times higher than BaTiO3. Mechanistic insights reveal ferroelectric polarization enhances charge separation. The approach

Non‐Destructively Quantifying the Whole‐Course Growth and Drug‐Response of PDOs by an Automatic Microfluidic System Utilizing Chemiluminescence Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The detection of secreted biomarkers enables molecular variations monitoring of organoid status. In this study, the non‐destructive quantification for the whole‐course growth and drug‐response of PDOs is first realized using a multifunctional microfluidic chip‐based system(ASMO) that integrates culturing, drug incubation, and biomarker detection ...

A Dynamic Gate Enables Regioselective Hydroxylation of Free Arginine by a Non‐Canonical Heme Enzyme

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The YqcI/YcgG enzyme AglA employs a unique “sandwich” fold and a dynamic gating mechanism to selectively hydroxylate AMPn‐Arg at Nε. Site‐directed mutations reprogram regioselectivity or enable activity on free arginine by altering hydrogen‐bond networks, precisely positioning substrates.
