Kompilatortestning genom slumpmässig källkodsgenerering

open access: yes, 2023
Most software projects today are written using programming languages. Compilers in turn translate programs written in these higher level languages into machine code, executable on actual hardware.

Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials for Energy Materials: Architectures, Training Strategies, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Machine learning interatomic potentials bridge quantum accuracy and computational efficiency for materials discovery. Architectures from Gaussian process regression to equivariant graph neural networks, training strategies including active learning and foundation models, and applications in solid‐state electrolytes, batteries, electrocatalysts ...

Compiling the Mimosa programming language to RTOS tasks

open access: yesCoRR
This paper introduces a compilation scheme for programs written in the Mimosa programming language, which builds upon the MIMOS model of computation. Mimosa describes embedded systems software as a collection of time-triggered processes which communicate through FIFO queues.

Design of safety critical systems by refinement

open access: yes, 2014
An increasingly large number of safety-critical embedded systems rely on software to prevent and mitigate hazards occurring due to design errors and unexpected interactions of the system with its users and the environment.

Do Tax Incentives for Farmland Leases Increase Farm Supply? Evidence From Iowa's Beginning Farmer Tax Credit

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In recent decades, agriculture has become increasingly concentrated through horizontal mergers and acquisitions via corporate entities, and policy makers are concerned this will be exacerbated by the aging population of farm operators. To reduce market concentration in agriculture, many states have enacted policies to entice new prospective ...

Efficient Compilation of Functional Languages by Program Transformation

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 1998
AbstractThis article presents how automatic program transformation techniques can be used in a functional language compiler to get significant improvement in the performance of the code generated. The transformations used are simple, but when they are repeatedly applied and interact, they achieve results that often are obtained only through specific ...

Do outgrower schemes enhance technology adoption and productivity? Evidence from maize farmers in Northern Ghana

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
Abstract Nucleus outgrower schemes are contractual arrangements where well‐resourced large‐scale farmers (nucleus farmers) are empowered by development support agencies to take charge of smallholder farmers, by providing them with market access and the necessary training on agronomic practices and farm inputs for production.

Assessing Haitian Consumers' Willingness to Pay a Premium for Aflatoxin‐Compliant Peanut Butter in the Informal Market

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Market‐based solutions are increasingly tested to address aflatoxin issues in peanuts in developing countries. Although previous studies have found that Haitian grocery store shoppers are willing to pay a 21% premium for peanut butter with levels of aflatoxin that meet international standards, no information is available for the much larger ...
