The tandem process involves CO2 methanation and CH4 pyrolysis for CNT synthesis. Unreacted CO2 and H2 from methanation oxidize Fe, suppressing CNT growth on Fe‐only catalysts. Incorporation of Mo into Fe/MgO forms Mo2C, which prevents Fe oxidation under CO2/H2 conditions and thereby enables CNT formation.

Estuarine hydrodynamic as a key-parameter to control eutrophication processes [PDF]
Estuaries and coastal lagoons are commonly subjected to intensive anthropogenic stress due to massive pollutant loading from urbanised riparian areas. Nutrient enrichment is a key-factor for habitat degradation, leading to sensible structural changes in ...

A Novel Multilevel Conceptual Framework for Flood Risk Governance
ABSTRACT Globally, flood risk is increasing as climate change progresses. Contemporary flood risk management practice often utilises hydrodynamic modelling (for hazard risk assessments), social vulnerability assessments, and risk communications in silo, which fragments evidence‐based decision‐making for effective flood risk management. We hence develop

Earthquake and Tsunami NaTech Risk Assessment for Oil Storage Facilities
ABSTRACT Interaction of natural and technological hazards (NaTech) events, such as tsunamis and earthquakes, can affect industrial facilities such as those featuring anchored atmospheric storage tanks. Consequences of natural events on this kind of installation may include the release of hazardous substances, which in turn can lead to industrial ...

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact
An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.

Network Coding for Multi-Resolution Multicast
Multi-resolution codes enable multicast at different rates to different receivers, a setup that is often desirable for graphics or video streaming. We propose a simple, distributed, two-stage message passing algorithm to generate network codes for single-
