Similar generalized frames [PDF]
Generalized frames are an extension of frames in Hilbert spaces and Hilbert $C^*$-modules. In this paper, the concept ''Similar" for modular $g$-frames is introduced and all of operator duals (ordinary duals) of similar $g$-frames with respect to each ...

Contraction and uniform convergence of isotonic regression
We consider the problem of isotonic regression, where the underlying signal $x$ is assumed to satisfy a monotonicity constraint, that is, $x$ lies in the cone $\{ x\in\mathbb{R}^n : x_1 \leq \dots \leq x_n\}$.

PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Reverse Engineering Approach to Quantum Electrodynamics
The S matrix of e--e scattering has the structure of a projection operator that projects incoming separable product states onto entangled two-electron states.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Projection operator techniques in Lagrangian mechanics: symmetrically coupled oscillators
We apply projection operator techniques to the computation of the natural frequencies of oscillation for three symmetrically coupled mechanical systems.

Multi-scale projection operator method and coarse-graining of covariant Fokker-Planck theory
A multi-scale projection operator method is developed and applied to study coarse-graining of covariant Fokker-Planck theory and the associated Ito-Langevin dynamics. Explicit expressions for the renormalized kinetic coefficients are obtained. It is also

Projective Truncation Approximation for Equations of Motion of Two-Time Green's Functions
In the equation of motion approach to the two-time Green's functions, conventional Tyablikov-type truncation of the chain of equations is rather arbitrary and apt to violate the analytical structure of Green's functions.

Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.
