This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Projection operator formalism and entropy
The entropy definition is deduced by means of (re)deriving the generalized non-linear Langevin equation using Zwanzig projector operator formalism. It is shown to be necessarily related to an invariant measure which, in classical mechanics, can always be

This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

GENERAL REMARKS ON DYNAMIC PROJECTION METHOD
A brief history and a mathematical description of the dynamic projection operators technique is presented. An example of the general Cauchy problem for evolution equations in 1+ 1 dimensions is studied in detail.

Project work provides active participation of students, covering activities with an emphasis on independent work and the combination of different information sources. The end result is creating your own product. Students from the third grade of „Alexander Georgiev-Kodzhakafaliyata“ Primary School did Project „Tour Operator“, which integrates the ...

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

A Lebesgue decomposition for elements in a topological group
Our aim is to establish the Lebesgue decomposition for strongly-bounded elements in a topological group. In 1963 Richard Darst established a result giving the Lebesgue decomposition of strongly-bounded elements in a normed Abelian group with respect to ...

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.
