On Pseudo Projective Curvature Tensor in Sasakian Manifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We consider pseudo projective curvature tensor in Sasakian manifolds. We show that every pseudo projectively flat and pseudo projective semisymmetric Sasakian manifolds arelocally isomorphic to unit sphere.

On the Weyl projective curvature tensor of the projective semi-symmetric connection in an SP-Sasakian manifold

open access: yesJournal of Ultra Scientist of Physical Sciences Section A, 2020
The objective of the present paper is to study the W2-curvature tensor of the projective semi-symmetric connection in an SP-Sasakian manifold. It is shown that an SP-Sasakian manifold satisfying the conditions ܲ\simP ⋅W2\sim ܹ = 0 is an Einstein manifold

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Quadratic Killing tensors on symmetric spaces which are not generated by Killing vector fields

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
Every Killing tensor field on the space of constant curvature and on the complex projective space can be decomposed into the sum of symmetric tensor products of Killing vector fields (equivalently, every polynomial in velocities integral of the geodesic ...

Tensor Decompositions and Their Properties

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In the present paper, we study two different approaches of tensor decomposition. The first part aims to study some properties of tensors that result from the fact that some components are vanishing in certain coordinates.

On Generalized Recurrent Finsler Spaces of Higher Order with Berwald’s Curvature Tensor

open access: yes, 2023
In this present paper, we introduced a Finsler space Fn which projective curvature tensor K^i_ijkh satisfies the generalized five recurrence property with respect to Berwald’s connection parameters G^i_kh, we have derived some theorems and some ...

Microstructure‐Controlled Crack Propagation and Fracture Resistance in MoSiBTiC Alloy Revealed by Multiscale Extended Finite Element Method Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐dimensional multiscale finite element analysis framework was established for the first‐generation MoSiBTiC alloy, and the mechanical and fracture‐related parameters of the constituent phases were calibrated through experiments and simulations. The framework provides a basis for analyzing crack propagation behavior in its complex microstructure ...

Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Nanocrystalline Ni at Multiple Length‐Scales

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Overview of miniaturized in situ SEM fatigue setup and resultant fatigue crack growth data for nanocrystalline Ni. The presented study focuses on the analysis of fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) in focused ion beam‐notched microcantilevers prepared from nanocrystalline (NC) Ni as a model material.

Ghosts in metric-affine higher order curvature gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
We disprove the widespread belief that higher order curvature theories of gravity in the metric-affine formalism are generally ghost-free. This is clarified by considering a sub-class of theories constructed only with the Ricci tensor and showing that ...
