The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Epimorphisms and maximal covers in categories of compact spaces
The category C is "projective complete"if each object has a projective cover (which is then a maximal cover). This property inherits from C to an epireflective full subcategory R provided the epimorphisms in R are also epi in C. When this condition fails,

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Spin Algebra and Naimark’s Extension: A Tutorial Approach with Examples
In analyzing two-electron systems, the interactions of interest often include the spin-spin operator S→1×S→2) and the spin-orbit operator L→·S→. When these operators act on entangled or indistinguishable particles, their measurement and physical ...

Invariants on Projective Space [PDF]
The paper contains some new theorems and examples of constructions of invariant nonlinear differential operators on real \(n\)-spheres. The classical theory of H. Weyl is essentially and practically extended. The results concerning spheres are transferred to projective spaces.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Cotargeting TREM2 and IL2 pathways triggers multipronged anticancer immunity
Von Locquenghien et al. report that MiTE‐144, a triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) blocking antibody fused to interleukin‐2 (IL2) variant with tumour microenvironment restricted activation, demonstrates superior anticancer efficiency in a preclinical setting.
