Chow groups of weighted hypersurfaces

open access: yes, 2000
We extend a result of to Esnault-Levine-Viehweg concerning the Chow groups of hypersurfaces in projective space to those in weighted projective ...

Isoparametric foliations on complex projective spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Irreducible isoparametric foliations of arbitrary codimension q on complex projective spaces CP^n are classified, except if n=15 and q=1. Remarkably, there are noncongruent examples that pull back under the Hopf map to congruent foliations on the sphere.

The MedSupport Multilevel Intervention to Enhance Support for Pediatric Medication Adherence: Development and Feasibility Testing

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction We developed MedSupport, a multilevel medication adherence intervention designed to address root barriers to medication adherence. This study sought to explore the feasibility and acceptability of the MedSupport intervention strategies to support a future full‐scale randomized controlled trial.

Quadratic Killing tensors on symmetric spaces which are not generated by Killing vector fields

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
Every Killing tensor field on the space of constant curvature and on the complex projective space can be decomposed into the sum of symmetric tensor products of Killing vector fields (equivalently, every polynomial in velocities integral of the geodesic ...

Quantum weighted projective and lens spaces

open access: yes, 2015
We generalize to quantum weighted projective spaces in any dimension previous results of us on K-theory and K-homology of quantum projective spaces `tout court'.

Geometry of Quantum Projective Spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In recent years, several quantizations of real manifolds have been studied, in particular from the point of view of Connes' noncommutative geometry. Less is known for complex noncommutative spaces.

Patient‐Level Barriers and Facilitators to Inpatient Physical Therapy in Adolescents and Young Adults With a Hematological Malignancy: A Qualitative Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

Topological Complexity and LS-Category of Certain Manifolds

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2023
The Lusternik–Schnirelmann category and topological complexity are important invariants of topological spaces. In this paper, we calculate the Lusternik–Schnirelmann category and topological complexity of products of real projective spaces and their ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
