Colouring quadrangulations of projective spaces

open access: yes, 2014
A graph embedded in a surface with all faces of size 4 is known as a quadrangulation. We extend the definition of quadrangulation to higher dimensions, and prove that any graph G which embeds as a quadrangulation in the real projective space P^n has ...

Cell density–dependent nuclear‐cytoplasmic shuttling of SETDB1 integrates with Hippo signaling to regulate YAP1‐mediated transcription

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

Invariant Geometric Objects of the Equitorsion Canonical Biholomorphically Projective Mappings of Generalized Riemannian Space in the Eisenhart Sense

open access: yesMathematics
The study of the equitorsion biholomorphically projective mappings between two generalized Riemannian spaces in the sense of Eisenhart’s definition is continued.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

On the geometry of the Coble-Dolgachev sextic

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2003
In this paper, we study the intersection of the Coble-Dolgachev sextic with special projective spaces. Let us recall that the Coble-Dolgachev sextic C_6 is the branch divisor of a double cover map.

On singular projective deformations of two second class totally focal pseudocongruences of planes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1988
Let C:L→L¯ be a projective deformation of the second order of two totally focal pseudocongruences L and L¯ of (m−1)-planes in projective spaces Pn and P¯n, 2m−1 ...

SOME FEATURES OF PAIRWISE α-R0 SPACES IN SUPRA FUZZY BITOPOLOGY [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mechanics of Continua and Mathematical Sciences
This paper introduces and studies four concepts of 𝑅0 supra fuzzy bitopological spaces. We have exhibited that all these four concepts are ‘good extensions’ of the corresponding concepts 𝑅0 bitopological spaces and building relationships among them.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.
