A review of software project testing [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Information Systems Engineering & Management, 2016
In this article a review of software projects based on a taxonomy project is established, allowing the development team or testing personnel to identify the tests to which the project must be subjected for validation. The taxonomy is focused on identifying software projects according to their technology.

FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

Projections of Tropical Fermat-Weber Points

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
This paper is motivated by the difference between the classical principal component analysis (PCA) in a Euclidean space and the tropical PCA in a tropical projective torus as follows.

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

First cold test of a crab cavity at the GERSEMI cryostat for the HL-LHC project [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
We tested the prototype DQW cavity in GERSEMI vertical test stand in FREIA. The performance met the specification, and our experimental procedure and infrastructure are qualified for testing crab cavities in the HL-LHC project. This was the critical milestone in the project and it also opens a new opportunity for testing superconducting cavities in ...

A histidine‐rich extension of the mitochondrial F0 subunit ATP6 from the ice worm Mesenchytraeus solifugus increases ATP synthase activity in bacteria

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The glacier ice worm Mesenchytraeus solifugus survives year‐round at 0 °C. Its ATP6 subunit, which forms a regulatory component of the proton pore in mitochondrial ATP synthase, has a carboxy‐terminal extension not found in any other organism examined to date. Here, we show that fusion of this extension to the homologous AtpB protein in E. coli results

Assessment of the recreational transformation of the grass cover of public green spaces

open access: yesAgrology, 2021
The paper reveals regularities of grass projective cover variation depending on the level of recreational transformation of public green spaces, taking into account stand density and soil electrical conductivity.

Test Automation Maturity Improves Product Quality -- Quantitative Study of Open Source Projects Using Continuous Integration [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The popularity of continuous integration (CI) is increasing as a result of market pressure to release product features or updates frequently. The ability of CI to deliver quality at speed depends on reliable test automation. In this paper, we present an empirical study to observe the effect of test automation maturity (assessed by standard best ...

Functional variation among LPMOs revealed by the inhibitory effects of cyanide and buffer ions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study addresses the inhibition of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) by cyanide and explains how and why the magnitude of observed inhibitory effects depends on the way LPMO reactions are setup and on the type of LPMO. Enzymes known as lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) are mono‐copper polysaccharide‐degrading peroxygenases that ...
