Projector Calibration using Arbitrary Planes and Calibrated Camera

2007 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2007
In this paper, an easy calibration method for projector is proposed. The calibration handled in this paper is projective relation between 3D space and 2D pattern, and is not correction of trapezoid distortion in projected pattern. In projector-camera systems, especially for 3D measurement, such calibration is the basis of process.

The Projector Calibration Based on ZHANG’s Self-Calibration Method

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
Projector calibration can be seen as a special case of the camera calibration. It can establish the relationship of the three dimensional space coordinates for points and projector image coordinates for points DMD by using a projector to project coding pattern.

Methods for geometrical video projector calibration

Machine Vision and Applications, 2011
In this paper we present two methods to geometrically calibrate a video projector using a markerless planar surface. The first method assumes a partial knowledge on the camera parameters, whereas the second method consists in an auto-calibration method with no assumption on the parameters of the camera.

Spectral calibration of a visible projector

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
It is typically assumed in calibrating emitter array projection systems that the radiated spectrum is Planckian and that intervening optics attenuate the signal but do not change the spectral shape significantly. Calibrating such a system is relatively easy in that blackbody reference sources are available to calibrate the unit under test (UUT), or ...

Ray-based generic digital projector calibration

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
We present a general and effective projector calibration method using a ray-based generic model, which consists of rays projected from all pixel elements of the projector. For computing the parameters of the rays, we propose a flexible 3D coordinates calculation method for the projected calibration target.

Slide projector calibration based on calibration of digital camera

SPIE Proceedings, 2007
With the development of non-contact measurement in the close-range photogrammetry, the use of the projector becomes frequent and familiar. In order to take full advantages of the slide projector, the slide projector is steered on the basis of the traditional method of the digital camera taking images.

Projector calibration algorithm in omnidirectional structured light

LIDAR Imaging Detection and Target Recognition 2017, 2017
This paper aims to study the projector calibration algorithm in omnidirectional structured light (OSL). The traditional projector calibration method can not directly be used in omnidirectional system, because the projector is perpendicular to the omnidirectional camera in our experiment.

Simple, Accurate, and Robust Projector-Camera Calibration

2012 Second International Conference on 3D Imaging, Modeling, Processing, Visualization & Transmission, 2012
Structured-light systems are simple and effective tools to acquire 3D models. Built with off-the-shelf components, a data projector and a camera, they are easy to deploy and compare in precision with expensive laser scanners. But such a high precision is only possible if camera and projector are both accurately calibrated.

Metric projector camera calibration for measurement applications

SPIE Proceedings, 2006
Structured light is widely used for shape measurement of surfaces using the triangulation principle. To fulfill this task, precise information about the optical path is necessary. We propose a novel method for the overall calibration of a setup consisting of a structured light source, a projection screen and a camera. As computer controlled video

Self-calibration for a camera-projector pair

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
A self-calibration algorithm has been designed and evaluated for the calibration of a structured-light 3-D scanner based on a camera - projector pair. It aims to allow the quick calibration on the field of a reconfigurable pair which has already been calibrated accurately in laboratory.
