Flexible projector calibration for active stereoscopic systems

2010 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2010
This contribution deals with the calibration of active stereoscopic systems consisting of a camera and a structured light projector. Usually, expensive equipments like precise calibration pieces or dedicated positioning devices are used for the projector calibration.

A flexible technique for slide projector calibration

SPIE Proceedings, 2003
With the development of non-contact measurement in the close range photogrammetry, the use of the slide projector becomes familiar and frequent. In order to take full advantage of the slide projector in the procedures of diverse photogrammetric measurements, the slide projector needs to be calibrated at first.

Multi-projector display with continuous self-calibration

Proceedings of the 5th ACM/IEEE International Workshop on Projector camera systems, 2008
Most existing calibration techniques for multi-projector display system require that the display configuration remain fixed during the display process. We in this paper present a new approach to continuously re-calibrate the projection system to automatically adapt to the display configuration changes, while the multi-projector system is being used ...

Auto-calibration for multi-projector 3D display

SPIE Proceedings, 2014
For typical multi-projector 3D display systems, precise calibration of projectors is extremely important for ensuring projected images/videos to coincide exactly in the same region of the screen to obtain high quality 3D display experience. Conventional calibration is achieved by adjusting the pose of projectors manually with the built-in keystone ...

Uncertainty Evaluation of Profile Projector Calibration

NCSL International Workshop & Symposium Conference Proceedings 2016, 2016
A profile projector is an optical measuring instrument that magnifies a workpiece's surface features to allow measurement on a linear or circular scale. It is also referred to as an optical comparator, since dimensions can be measured directly on the screen or compared to a standard reference at the correct magnification.

Calibration of a camera–projector monochromatic system

The Photogrammetric Record, 2015
AbstractCamera–projector systems are increasingly being used in many different applications, including object reconstruction. In recent years, a number of approaches have been proposed to calibrate such devices; in this paper a calibration method is presented which can be used with monochromatic systems.

Automatic projector calibration with embedded light sensors

Proceedings of the 17th annual ACM symposium on User interface software and technology, 2004
Projection technology typically places several constraints on the geometric relationship between the projector and the projection surface to obtain an undistorted, properly sized image. In this paper we describe a simple, robust, fast, and low-cost method for automatic projector calibration that eliminates many of these constraints.

Calibration issues for projector-based 3D-scanning

Proceedings Shape Modeling Applications, 2004., 2004
In this paper we want to introduce an approach to 3D scanning of dynamic scenes. This implementation enables the user not only to manually move a scan head over the object to scan but also to capture moving objects. Registration from scan to scan is done in real-time. The user interacts with the system and watches the scene assembling.

Automatic Projector Calibration Using Self-Identifying Patterns

2005 IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR'05) - Workshops, 2006
Calibrating multiple monitor or projector display elements to provide a composite image can be a time-consuming task if performed manually. Ideally the user would like to roughly aim a number of projectors at a surface, define the desired display corners, and have some automatic method to align the display.

Photometric Self-Calibration of a Projector-Camera System

2007 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2007
In this paper, we present a method for photometric self- calibration of a projector-camera system. In addition to the input transfer functions (commonly called gamma functions), we also reconstruct the spatial intensity fall-off from the center to fringe (commonly called the vignetting effect) for both the projector and camera. Projector-camera systems
