Eriope barrinhae (Lamiaceae, Hyptidinae), a new montane species from northern Minas Gerais, Brazil

In northern Minas Gerais, in the Monte Azul region, the Pico da Formosa mountain remains poorly explored botanically despite recent discoveries of new taxa. Successful replacement of the urinary bladder following exteriorisation during bite‐induced scrotal trauma in a domestic rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)

Abstract Scrotal exteriorisation of abdominal viscera is rarely reported in domestic rabbits and constitutes a surgical emergency. This report describes traumatic inguinoscrotal herniation of the urinary bladder in a domestic rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), a 4‐month‐old entire male, following bite‐induced scrotal avulsion during territorial aggression.

Carbon Stocks in Sugarcane Biomass and Their Implications on Land Use Change CO2 Balance in Brazil

This paper develops a regionalized carbon stock factor for sugarcane biomass in Brazil, showing that sugarcane cultivation can lead to net carbon removal in most municipalities. The findings improve greenhouse gas inventories and support bioenergy policies by providing more accurate, spatially resolved estimates for land use change emissions.
