Spectator tagging in quasi-free pn-reactions on deuterium at PROMICE/WASA, CELSIUS
A set of silicon detectors has been added to the PROMICE/WASA (P/W) experiment at CELSIUS. These detectors have been used for spectator-proton tagging in proton deuteron collisions to investigate proton-neutron reactions at intermediate energies. The performance of the setup has been tested by measuring the pd --> d pi(o)p(spectator) reaction.

GNSS-IR for snow studies at PROMICE automatic weather station in Greenland
2022<p>The PROMICE project runs 27 Automatic Weather Stations (AWSs) in Greenland. Most of these are located in the ablation zone of the Greenland ice sheet. From March to September 2020 a multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antenna was installed on the AWS NUK-K at a small local glacier outside Nuuk with the purpose of ...

Application of PROMICE Q‐Transect in Situ Accumulation and Ablation Measurements (2000–2017) to Constrain Mass Balance at the Southern Tip of the Greenland Ice Sheet [PDF]
With nine southern Greenland ice sheet ablation area locations, the Programme for Monitoring of the Greenland Ice Sheet (PROMICE) “Q‐transect” is a source of snow accumulation and ice ablation data spanning 17 years (2000 to present). Snow water equivalence measurements below equilibrium line altitude enable resolving the location and magnitude of an ...

Monitoring the flow of the Greenland Ice Sheet: The PROMICE ice velocity product and recent updates
2023We present the Programme for Monitoring of the Greenland Ice Sheet (PROMICE) ice velocity product, which is a time series of ice velocity mosaics derived using offset tracking on Sentinel-1 SAR data.  The time series starting in January 2016 is continuously updated with a new mosaic every 12 days and is posted at 500 m grid resolution.
