This contribution re-examines the disputed authorship of the Three Opuscules on Providence, a paraphrasis of three texts by Proclus, ascribed either to Isaac, the brother of Alexios I, or to ‘our’ Isaac, Alexios’s son. In this chapter, I argue in favour of the latter.

Osservazioni sulla pronoia in tema di omicidio
L'omicidio ek pronoias del diritto ateniese non è identificabile con un omicidio genericamente volontario, compiuto dal soggetto anche in assenza di una specifica volontà di uccidere. Perché l'omicida fosse condannato a morte, era indispensabile provare che egli aveva agito nella piena consapevolezza delle conseguenze della sua azione.
