Beneficial microorganisms impacts rooting and the establishment of African marigold cuttings [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Minor Fruits, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, 2023
The investigation was done using bio-formulations containing beneficial microorganisms to assess the impact of beneficial microorganisms on the performance of African marigold cuttings during propagation and their establishment.

Multi-scale simulation of the nano-metric cutting process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and the finite element (FE) method are two popular numerical techniques for the simulation of machining processes. The two methods have their own strengths and limitations.

Crack propagation in honeycomb cellular materials: a computational approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Computational models based on the finite element method and linear or nonlinear fracture mechanics are herein proposed to study the mechanical response of functionally designed cellular components. It is demonstrated that, via a suitable tailoring of the

A fast Multiple Birth and Cut algorithm using belief propagation [PDF]

open access: yes2011 18th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2011
In this paper, we present a faster version of the newly proposed Multiple Birth and Cut (MBC) algorithm. MBC is an optimization method applied to the energy minimization of an object based model, defined by a marked point process. We show that, by proposing good candidates in the birth step of this algorithm, the speed of convergence is increased.

Oscillatory fracture path in thin elastic sheet [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We report a novel mode of oscillatory crack propagation when a cutting tip is driven through a thin brittle polymer film. The phenomenon is so robust that it can easily be reproduced at hand (using CD packaging material for example).

Perbanyakan Gembili (Dioscorea Esculenta) Dan Ubi Kelapa (Dioscorea Alata) Menggunakan Bibit Set Mini [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Ubi kelapa and Gembili are potential sources of fungsional food, because of their high nutrition content. But their production and utilization in Indonesia remains lack behind, due to their low economic value, requiring long cultivation period and high ...

Surface profile prediction and analysis applied to turning process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
An approach for the prediction of surface profile in turning process using Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural networks is presented. The input parameters of the RBF networks are cutting speed, depth of cut and feed rate.

Optimal control of non-stationary differential linear repetitive processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Differential repetitive processes are a distinct class of continuousdiscrete 2D linear systems of both systems theoretic and applications interest. The feature which makes them distinct from other classes of such systems is the fact that information ...
