The Superstring Propagator and the Signature of Space-Time
Modern Physics Letters A, 1997The Faddeev (Newton–Wigner) propagator K for the heterotic superstring theory is derived from the Wheeler–DeWitt equation for the wave function of the Universe Ψ, obtained in the four-dimensional (mini-superspace) Friedmann space-time ds2=dt2-a2(t)dx2, after reduction from the ten-action.

Construction of the short-time propagator
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 1990The rules for constructing the short-time propagator by means of classical dynamics, classical notions and boundary conditions only are presented. Some illustrations are added.

Uncertainty Propagation in the Discrete-Time Wavelet Transform
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2004Signal analysis based on the wavelet transform is applied in many fields. Detection and classification of electromagnetic transients in power systems is a significant application. The use of the wavelet transform for measurement purposes involves issues of uncertainty evaluation.

Time-Frequency Analysis of Schrödinger Propagators
2012We present a survey on recent results concerning applications of Time-Frequency Analysis to the study of Fourier Integral Operators (FIOs). In particular, we focus on Schrodinger-type FIOs, showing that Gabor frames provide optimally sparse representations of such operators.

Propagator for the time-dependent harmonic oscillator
Physical Review A, 1990We evaluate the exact propagator for a system of n-coupled harmonic oscillators with time-dependent coupling constants ${k}_{\mathrm{ij}}$(t ...

Time-of-Propagation Counter for the LEPS
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2014We have tested a time-of-propagation (TOP) counter, which is a ring-image Cherenkov counter utilizing the position and propagation time of the Cherenkov light produced by particles moving in a quartz radiator. Position-sensitive photomultipliers (PMTs) are attached to the end of the quartz bar to detect the produced Cherenkov-ring image.
