Synergetic effect between NiO and Ni3V2O8 in propane oxidative dehydrogenation
The oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of propane was investigated on Ni-V-O catalysts in a wide range of vanadium contents (5-40%). The addition of a small amount of vanadium significantly increased the catalytic activity of NiO for oxidative ...

Siral‐HPW‐Supported Pd and Ru Catalysts Evaluation for Glycerol Upgrading
MSiralHPW (M = Ru, Pd, and PdRu) catalysts are active in glycerol hydrogenolysis. Metal (Ru > Pd) and precursor (Cl− > NO3−) influences were verified. Promoting effect of RuO2 reduction by Pd did not influence the metallic dispersion. Residual chlorine promoted acidic sites suitable for the formation of 1,3‐PDO.

Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane and propane over Mn-based catalysts
The catalytic performances of Mn-based catalysts have been investigated for the oxidative dehydrogenation of both ethane (ODE) and propane (ODP). The results show that a LiCl/MnOx/PC (Portland cement) catalyst has an excellent catalytic performance for ...

Synthesis of two new Nickel and CopperNickel vanadates used for propane oxidative dehydrogenation
Two new vanadates have been successfully synthesized by the hydrothermal and coprecipitation methods. Both vanadates were calcined at 600 °C and the resulting catalysts were tested on reaction of oxidative dehydrogenation of propane.

Catalytic Dehydrogenation of Propane: Oxidative and Non-Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane
The dehydrogenation of propane has a great interest, due to a global growing demand in propene. This reaction needs a catalyst, high temperature and low propane partial pressure.

Herein, we present density functional theory calculations of the (oxidative) dehydrogenation of propane on Pd(111) and Pd(211) surfaces. We find that, independently of the surfaces and the intermediate product (1-propyl or 2-propyl), O-assisted ...
