Hollow‐Structured Nanorobot with Excellent Magnetic Propulsion for Catalytic Pollutant Degradation, Anti‐Bacterial and Biofilm Removal

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A hollow‐structured Fe3O4@AgAu@PDA‐ZnPc nanosphere has been developed, exhibiting controllable catalytic activity and “photothermal‐photodynamic‐Ag+” coupling antibacterial characteristics. When subjected to a rotating magnetic field, these performances are uniquely enhanced by magnetic propulsion, allowing the nanosphere to function as a magnetic ...

Propeller Modulation Equalization via Reference Tones [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Propeller modulation, also known as micro-Doppler modulation, presents a significant challenge in radio frequency (RF) inspection operations conducted via drones. This paper investigates the equalization of propeller modulation effects on RF signals, specifically targeting applications in navigation aids such as Instrument Landing Systems (ILS).

Scenarios for GCRT J1745-3009 [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
I discuss several scenarios to explain properties of the radio transient source GCRT J1745-3009. Namely, a highly magnetized neutron star on the propeller or georotator stage, a transient propeller, and an ejector in a binary system are discussed. Simple populational estimates favor the transient propeller model.

Spectral characterizations of propeller graphs [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Linear Algebra, Volume 27 (2014) pp. 19-38, 2012
A propeller graph is obtained from an $\infty$-graph by attaching a path to the vertex of degree four, where an $\infty$-graph consists of two cycles with precisely one common vertex. In this paper, we prove that all propeller graphs are determined by their Laplacian spectra as well as their signless Laplacian spectra.

Biohybrid Vascular Graft Made of Textile‐Reinforced Elastin‐Like Recombinamers and Its Preservation via Drying Processes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Clinical translation of biohybrid medical implants requires the previous implementation of drying schemes that can facilitate their sterilization and storage. This study addresses that critical aspect and elucidates the impact of drying on biohybrid vascular grafts, highlighting the need for implant‐specific drying strategies to ensure safety ...

The Be/X-ray Binary LSI+61303 in terms of Ejector-Propeller Model [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2001
We tested the ejector-propeller model of the Be/X-ray binary LSI+61303 (V 615 Cas, GT 0236+620) by using the parameters predicted by the model in the calculations of the X-ray and radio variability. The results are: (1) in terms of the Ejector-Propeller model, the X-ray maximum is due to the periastron passage; (2) the radio outburst can be really a ...
