Multiple Right-Hand Side Techniques in Semi-Explicit Time Integration Methods for Transient Eddy Current Problems

open access: yes, 2017
The spatially discretized magnetic vector potential formulation of magnetoquasistatic field problems is transformed from an infinitely stiff differential algebraic equation system into a finitely stiff ordinary differential equation (ODE) system by ...

A Bottom‐Up Design Framework for Multifunctional Lattice Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a generative AI framework for designing multifunctional lattice metamaterials. The method combines 3D Gaussian voxel generation with deep learning, enabling greater design freedom and structural performance. The optimized lattice metamaterials achieve enhanced energy absorption by 40–200% compared to conventional structures and ...

A Group Condensation Method Based on Proper Orthogonal Decomposition

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu, 2023
The group condensation is a key process of the two-step method and is the guarantee of efficiency of the two-step method. However, the group condensation of the two-step method also reduces the energy resolution and leads to the calculation errors.

Parametric Electromagnetic Analysis of Radar-Based Advanced Driver Assistant Systems

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Efficient and optimal design of radar-based Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS) needs the evaluation of many different electromagnetic solutions for evaluating the impact of the radome on the electromagnetic wave propagation.

An intrinsic Proper Generalized Decomposition for parametric symmetric elliptic problems

open access: yes, 2017
We introduce in this paper a technique for the reduced order approximation of parametric symmetric elliptic partial differential equations. For any given dimension, we prove the existence of an optimal subspace of at most that dimension which realizes ...

Ergodic solenoids and generalized currents

open access: yes, 2010
We introduce the concept of solenoid as an abstract laminated space. We do a thorough study of solenoids, leading to the notion of ergodic and uniquely ergodic solenoids.

Bacterial Outer Membrane Vesicles in Potentiating Cancer Vaccines: Progress and Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) have emerged as versatile platforms for cancer vaccine development owing to their intrinsic immunostimulatory properties and high engineering flexibility. This review summarizes OMV biology, immune mechanisms, and engineering strategies that enhance vaccine efficacy, discusses key translational challenges, and ...

Analysis of Fixing Nodes Used in Generalized Inverse Computation

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2014
In various fields of numerical mathematics, there arises the need to compute a generalized inverse of a symmetric positive semidefinite matrix, for example in the solution of contact problems.

Tunable Sound Absorption via Evanescent‐Wave Coupling in Asymmetric Bilayer Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tunable sound absorption is realized through a bilayer metasurface system governed by evanescent‐wave coupling. This work demonstrates that such evanescent‐wave coupling provides a controllable scattering channel that destructively interferes with the specular reflection.

A Parsimonious Separated Representation Empowering PINN–PGD-Based Solutions for Parametrized Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics
The efficient solution (fast and accurate) of parametric partial differential equations (pPDE) is of major interest in many domains of science and engineering, enabling evaluations of the quantities of interest, optimization, control, and uncertainty ...
