Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Aberration in proper motions [PDF]
Approved space astrometric missions (SIM, GAIA) are aiming at a few microarcseconds per year precision in yearly proper motions and even less than a microarcsecond in the definition of an extragalactic reference frame. At such a level of accuracy, the curvature of stellar orbits around the center of the Galaxy cannot be neglected.

Proper Motion and Timing of Two Unusual Pulsars: Calvera and 1E 1207.4-5209
Using pairs of images from the Chandra High-Resolution Camera we examine the proper motion of the central compact object (CCO) 1E 1207.4-5209 in the supernova remnant (SNR) PKS 1209-51/52, and the unusual pulsar Calvera that is possibly a CCO descendant.

Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.
