Volvulus and Torsion of Various Organs Requiring Emergency Surgery: A Case Series
ABSTRACT Volvulus and torsion are life‐threatening emergencies requiring prompt diagnosis and surgical intervention. This study presents cases gallbladder torsion, lung torsion, mesenteroaxial gastric volvulus. Combined laparoscopic ovariectomy and laparoscopic-assisted gastropexy versus combined laparoscopic ovariectomy and total laparoscopic gastropexy: a comparison of surgical time, complications, and postoperative pain in dogs [PDF]
The trend in laparoscopy is to develop easy and rapid techniques associated with reduced intraoperative complications and decreased postoperative pain. The aim of this study was to compare combined laparoscopic ovariectomy (OIE) and laparoscopic-assisted

Gastric dilatation secondary to incarceration through a gastrosplenic omental rent in a dog
Abstract A 2‐year‐old, entire, female Dogue de Bordeaux presented with inappetence and abdominal distension. Radiographs revealed gastric dilatation and malpositioning. Given the absence of classical signs of gastric dilatation and volvulus, a medical approach was elected. After 24 hours, the dog's condition deteriorated.
