Proportional-Resonant Stator Current Controller Applied to SEIG Based Systems

2019 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Conference - Latin America (ISGT Latin America), 2019
This paper deals with the development of a load current sensorless control system applied on a distribution synchronous static compensator (DSTATCOM) for the voltage regulation and load disturbance compensation of self excited induction generator (SEIG) based systems.

Microgrid Design and Control Using a Discrete Proportional Resonant Controller

2016
The Microgrid is a power system network which assumes a cluster of loads and microsources operating as a single controllable system providing both power and heat to its local area. This paper presents a Proportional Resonant (PR) controller design in discrete domain for regulating the active and reactive power output for a three-phase AC Micro-Grid ...

Single-phase power factor correction circuit with Proportional-Resonant control

Proceedings of the 2014 6th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI), 2014
This paper propose the use of “Proportional-Resonant” (PR) controllers for Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuits used in front-end converters for grid-connected applications. The performance of the PFC converter with PR control is analyzed using simulations and the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of control are discussed.

Dual Unified Power Quality Conditioner with Proportional-Resonant Controller

The Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is an equipment that simultaneously mitigates voltage and current disturbances. It is formed by two active filters in a back-to-back configuration with a series connection to the grid by one of the converters, and the other is shunt-connected.

Proportional-Resonant Current Controllers Design Based on Desired Transient Performance

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2015
Stationary reference frame proportional-resonant (PR) controllers have recently became a viable alternative to rotation reference frame proportional-integrative compensators in ac applications because of their ability of achieving zero steady-state error without the need for computational-intensive reference frame transformations.
