Digital Resonant Controller based on Modified Tustin Discretization Method

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2016
Resonant controllers are used in power converter voltage and current control due to their simplicity and accuracy. However, digital implementation of resonant controllers introduces problems related to zero and pole mapping from the continuous to the ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Design of a High Performance Resonant Controller for Improved Stability and Robustness of Islanded Three-Phase Microgrids

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Islanded microgrids face difficulties due to the presence of nonlinearity, asynchronous load, and unknown load dynamics. Moreover, conventional control schemes in the islanded microgrids show slow dynamic response, significant voltage-current ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Dual Quasi-Resonant Controller Position Observer Based on High Frequency Pulse Voltage Injection Method

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper proposed a dual quasi-resonant controller position observer for conventional pulsating high frequency voltage injection method. The proposed position observer can not only improve the dynamic performance of the sensorless control, but can also

Sensorless position control of permanent magnet motors with pulsating current injection and compensation of motor end-effects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The sensorless position control of permanent-magnet motors is successfully implemented by superimposing a high-frequency voltage signal on the voltage reference or adding a high-frequency current signal to the current reference.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Artificial neural networks controllers for three-phase neutral point clamped inverters

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2023
In this study, a new current control method consisting of proportional-resonant (PR) based artificial neural networks (ANN) has been developed for a neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter.
