IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Proportional Reasoning in Middle School
The ability to reason proportionally is a foundational concept for students to master while in middle school, leading to increased understanding and deeper conceptualization of higher level mathematics and science in the later grades (Heller et al., 1989;

Spatial proportional reasoning is associated with formal knowledge about fractions
Proportional reasoning involves thinking about parts and wholes, i.e., about fractional quantities. Yet, research on proportional reasoning and fraction learning has proceeded separately.

The Construction of Proportional Reasoning
The development of proportional reasoning has long been recognised as a central but problematic aspect of mathematics learning. In a Year 6 teaching intervention the part/whole notion of fractions was distinguished from the part:part notion of ratio ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Utilizing Analogical Reasoning to Aid Children’s Proportional Reasoning Understanding
Proportional reasoning is an important skill that relates to fraction learning and math achievement. Because both proportional and analogical reasoning involve comparing relations, we hypothesized that supports for analogical reasoning (multiple ...

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...
