Before It Was ‘New’: A Neglected History of Lived Experience–Led Criminal Justice
ABSTRACT A growing range of criminal justice initiatives are being shaped and delivered by people with lived experience, including peer mentoring, prisoner councils and policy advocacy roles. While often seen as recent innovations, we reveal a deeper, largely unacknowledged history dating back to at least the 19th century.

City of God and the Duty of Just Memory
Abstract In a recent essay, Richard Miller claims that Augustine presumes a duty to remember justly in his City of God. However, Miller's brief reference to a presumed duty of “just memory” does not fully explain how Augustine conceptualizes this duty or how it relates to his theological concerns.

In the drainage process of coalbed methane well, the interruption of drainage will induce a large amount of coal fines to stay in propped fractures, causing damage to the permeability of propped fractures. Based on the solid-liquid two-phase flow and gas-

‘There Has Been a Scandal’: Cultural Performers and the Strangers’ Churches of London
ABSTRACT Despite what one might assume to have been a rigid line between London's refugee community—with its strict brand of Protestantism—and the city's performance cultures—often the target of strict Protestants' ire—historical records reveal a number of overlaps between those domains.

Mechanical behavior of hollow proppants based on finite element model
Proppants are being increasingly used in hydraulic fracturing, which keep the fractures open. Progress has been made in developing hollow proppants that can be transported to the far end of the fractures to improve propped fracture conductivity.

Precarious agency: The role of uptake
Abstract How do we overcome the agency dilemma, that is, account for the fact that power relations heavily affect our agency without neglecting the many ways in which oppressed people act meaningfully? This article offers a solution by paying special attention to socially complex uptake in a framework of communities of practice. In order to explain the

The combination of acidizing and hydraulic fracturing, or proppant-acid fracturing, seems to be a very logical approach to achieve the maximum stimulated volume in tight gas reservoirs, since the acid solution can stimulate the deep microfracture network
