ProSC+: Profit-Driven Online Participant Selection in Compressive Mobile Crowdsensing

2018 IEEE/ACM 26th International Symposium on Quality of Service (IWQoS), 2018
A mobile crowdsensing (MCS) platform motivates to employ participants from the crowd to complete sensing tasks. A crucial problem is to maximize the profit of the platform, i.e., the charge of a sensing task minus the payments to participants that execute the task.

Confirmation of mutations in PROSC as a novel cause of vitamin B 6 -dependent epilepsy

Journal of Medical Genetics, 2017
Vitamin-B6-dependent epilepsies are a heterogenous group of treatable disorders due to mutations in several genes (ALDH7A1, PNPO, ALPL or ALDH4A1). In neonatal seizures, defects in ALDH7A1 and PNPO explain a major fraction of cases. Very recently biallelic mutations in PROSC were shown to be a novel cause in five families.

Pediatric Procedural Sedation in the Community Emergency Department

Pediatric Emergency Care, 2007
Emergency department procedural sedation practices for children have been reported for pediatric tertiary care centers. This report describes these same practice patterns and outcomes for community hospital-based general emergency physicians (EPs) in their treatment of pediatric patients. The Procedural Sedation in the Community Emergency Department ...

Performance study of PROSCES/MACHINE program available through the SABER program

6th International Conference on Power Electronics and Variable Speed Drives, 1996
This work proposes an algorithm (PROSCES/MACHINE), for the numerical simulation of induction machines and static power converter systems, allowing the dynamic analysis of the whole system. The results presented by the PROSCES/MACHINE program are compared with the results obtained in the SABER program.

Mutations in PROSC and vitamin B6 dependent epilepsy – a functional study in zebrafish

2018
Background: Vitamin B6 dependent epilepsies are a group of rare, recessive genetic diseases that causes seizures refractory to standard epilepsy treatment but that respond rapidly to vitamin B6. Several disease-causing mutations have already been described in detail, but the mechanism behind one of them, PROSC (proline synthetase co-transcribed homolog)
