Statistical Correlations in Green Synthesis of Nanoceria: Linking Process Parameters to Nanoparticle Properties

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
Statistical correlations between key synthesis parameters and resulting characteristic properties of plant‐mediated green‐synthesized nanoceria were systematically analyzed. Data were extracted from a wide range of previously published studies, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of trends and relationships, and providing insights for optimizing ...

Microbacterium plantarum sp. nov. and Microbacterium thalli sp. nov., two endophytic metal-resistant bacteria isolated from Sphaeralcea angustifolia (Cav.) G. Don and Prosopis laevigata (Humb. et Bonpl. ex Willd) M.C. Johnston

open access: yesInternational Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2023
Four Gram-positive, aerobic, catalase- and oxidase-negative, rod-shaped, motile endophytic bacterial strains, designated NM3R9T, NE1TT3, NE2TL11 and NE2HP2T, were isolated from the inner tissues (leaf and stem) of Sphaeralcea angustifolia and roots of Prosopis laevigata.

Análisis de calidad del carbón de mezquite (Prosopis sp.), encino (Quercus sp.) y eucalipto (Eucalyptus sp.)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Animal and Environmental Research

Biochemical Characterization of a Kunitz‐Type Protease Inhibitor From Mimosa regnellii and Its Effects on Melanoma Cell Viability and Angiogenesis

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 4, April 2026.
A Kunitz‐type serine protease inhibitor (JTI) purified from Mimosa regnellii seeds selectively targets melanoma cells. JTI triggers mitochondrial apoptosis, increases ROS and Ca2+ levels, arrests the cell cycle, and suppresses migration and angiogenesis without affecting healthy cells.

Biological corridors are crucial habitat features that boost biodiversity in agroecological systems of Argentina

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 7, Issue 1, January–March 2026.
Our work shows for the first time in the region that biological corridors increase biodiversity and promote interactions between different components of the production system, using a methodology never before used in Argentina such as the Griffon index.

The Role of Leaf Wettability and Morphology on Leaf Surface Water Storage: A Cross‐Biome Synthesis

open access: yesEcohydrology, Volume 19, Issue 1, January‐February 2026.
ABSTRACT The presence of water on leaves impacts plant function and ecosystem fluxes by supplementing moisture, reducing evapotranspirational demand and encouraging pathogen spread. Maximum phytoelement water storage capacity (MWSC)—the maximum amount of water that can be held on the surface of the leaf‐ is an important but poorly constrained parameter
