YC‐4‐3, a Novel Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3β Inhibitor, Alleviates the Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress of Macrophages in Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A patented GSK‐3β inhibitor (GSK‐3βi), new benzothiazepinone compounds (BTZs), YC‐4‐3, can modulate the inflammatory status of macrophages in primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), and improve the thrombocytopenia in murine ITP models by directly interacting with endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response.

Essential lipid autacoids rewire mitochondrial energy efficiency in metabolic dysfunction‐associated fatty liver disease

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Increased liver content of DHA‐derived small lipid autacoids (i.e resolvin D1 and maresin 1) associates with enhanced mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, fatty acid β‐oxidation and bioenergetic metabolic flux. These features provide hepatic protection from steatotic, pro‐inflammatory and fibrogenic insults.

Enzymatic formation of prostamide F2α from anandamide involves a newly identified intermediate metabolite, prostamide H2

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2005
Prostaglandin F2α 1-ethanolamide (prostamide F2α) is a potent ocular hypotensive agent in animals and represents a new class of fatty acid amide compounds.

Release of prostaglandin F-2 alpha and the timing of events associated with luteolysis in ewes with oestrous cycles of different lengths.

open access: yesJournal of Reproduction and Fertility, 1988
Ewes (N = 32) were bled every 2 h from 5 days before expected oestrus until the end of oestrus. Plasma concentrations were determined for progesterone to monitor luteal activity and for the prostaglandin F-2 alpha (PGF-2 alpha) metabolites, 15-keto-13,14-

DNA‐PKcs‐Driven YAP1 Phosphorylation and Nuclear Translocation: a Key Regulator of Ferroptosis in Hyperglycemia‐Induced Cardiac Dysfunction in Type 1 Diabetes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the context of chronic hyperglycemia, a DDR is initiated, leading to the pathological activation of DNA‐PKcs in the diabetic heart. This activated DNA‐PKcs directly interacts with and phosphorylates YAP1 at Thr226, thereby increasing the nuclear expression of YAP1.

Emergence of highly profibrotic and proinflammatory Lrat+Fbln2+ HSC subpopulation in alcoholic hepatitis

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Lrat+ quiescent hepatic stellate cells (qHSC) give rise to Lrat+Fbln2+ activated HSC (aHSC) in alcohol‐associated hepatitis and this subpopulation is highly profibrotic, inflammatory, and immunoregulatory based on their single cell transcriptomic profile. Abstract Background and Aims Relative roles of HSCs and portal fibroblasts in alcoholic hepatitis (

Pyometra in Bitches Induces Elevated Plasma Endotoxin and Prostaglandin FMetabolite Levels

open access: yesActa Veterinaria Scandinavica, 2006
Endotoxemia in bitches with pyometra can cause severe systemic effects directly or via the release of inflammatory mediators. Plasma endotoxin concentrations were measured in ten bitches suffering from pyometra with moderately to severely deteriorated ...

Multiplicative functions commutable with binary quadratic forms $x^2 \pm xy + y^2$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
If a multiplicative function $f$ is commutable with a quadratic form $x^2+xy+y^2$, i.e., \[ f(x^2+xy+y^2) = f(x)^2 + f(x)\,f(y) + f(y)^2, \] then $f$ is the identity function. In other hand, if $f$ is commutable with a quadratic form $x^2-xy+y^2$, then $f$ is one of three kinds of functions: the identity function, the constant function, and an ...

Uterine luminal prostaglandin F in cycling mares

open access: yesProstaglandins, 1978
Prostaglandin F was measured by radioimmunoassay in uterine flushings of cycling mares on days 4, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 post-ovulation. Prostaglandin F was significantly (P less than .05) affected by day of the estrous cycle and reached maximal levels on day 14.

Variation in plasma concentrations of oestradiol-17 beta and their relationship to those of progesterone, 13,14-dihydro-15-keto-prostaglandin F-2 alpha and oxytocin across pregnancy and at parturition in pony mares.

open access: yesJournal of Reproduction and Fertility, 1988
Concentrations of plasma progesterone were similar to values reported in the literature except that a significant decrease in progesterone during the last day, but before parturition, was detected by systematic, high-intensity blood sampling.
