Potency and Prostatectomy

A prospective questionnaire study with a 6-month follow-up was carried out to determine the incidence of post-prostatectomy impotence. 57% of patients were potent at the time of operation. A man with full potency had a 4% chance of becoming totally impotent and a 3% chance of becoming partially impotent. A man with failing preoperative potency had a 10%
