Hierarchically Engineered Multi‐Enzyme Nanoreactors for in vitro Drug Biosynthesis and Pathway Transplantation Into Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchically structured metal–organic framework (eMIL) is shown to host the complete six‐enzyme biosynthesis pathway for the anti‐cancer pigment violacein, reshaping reaction dynamics and multiplying in vitro yields. eMIL nanoreactors deliver this reconstituted bacterial multi‐protein system into mammalian cells, where cell‐derived substrates and ...

Elastomers Combining Damping Efficiency With Rapid Recovery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Double network granular elastomers (DNGEs) combine high energy dissipation under both cyclic loading and high impact with rapid shape recovery. 3D printing enables the production of complex, customizable structures with tailored performance. Recyclable DNGEs retain their properties over multiple recycling cycles.

Life-Like Color Characterization and Extrinsic Layering of Silicone Orbital Prosthesis: A Case Report

open access: yesDental Journal of Advance Studies, 2023
Orbital mucormycosis was the second most common type of mucormycosis during the COVID-19 wave, which along with the loss of orbital content, lead to a loss of confidence in the patients as well. Prosthodontists play a major role in rehabilitating the lost structure as well as the lost confidence in the patients by providing extra-oral silicone ...

Two-dimensional echocardiographic and color flow Doppler evaluation of ductal occlusion with the Rashkind prosthesis. [PDF]

open access: yesCirculation, 1989
To evaluate the results of ductal occlusion with the Rashkind prosthesis, 78 children (group 1, 19 boys and 59 girls; mean age at occlusion, 4.5 +/- 4.0 years) with isolated patent ductus arteriosus (n = 73) or in association with other lesions (n = 5) were evaluated by pulsed and color flow Doppler 9 +/- 7 months (range, 2-26 months) after occlusion ...
