A Case of Unilaterally Designed Obturator Prosthesis

open access: yesNihon Hotetsu Shika Gakkai Zasshi, 2005
A 50-year-old female patient with minor maxillary defect was afflicted with an ipsilateral oroantral fistula. A unilaterally designed obturator was constructed for the patient. She was satisfied with the obturator because no leakage or seepage into the antrum occurred during mastication.

Wrist arthroplasty using prosthesis as an alternative to arthrodesis: design, outcomes and future

open access: yesJournal of Hand Surgery (European Volume), 2018
We developed an uncemented screw-shaped ball-and-socket wrist prosthesis and modified it during a decade of trails from 1996 to 2005. The final Motec® wrist prosthesis was launched in 2006.

Two Material Properties from One Wavelength‐Orthogonal Photoresin Enabled by a Monochromatic Laser Integrated Stereolithographic Apparatus (Mono LISA)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
A single object with dual properties – degradable and non‐degradable – is fabricated in a single print simply by switching the printing colors. The advanced multi‐material printing is enabled by the combination of a fully wavelength‐orthogonal photoresin and a monochromatic tunable laser printer, paving the way for precise multi‐material ...
