Primagistemus gen. nov. (Acari: Prostigmata: Stigmaeidae)
Zootaxa, 2002Primagistemus gen. nov. (Acari: Stigmaeidae) is described and its taxonomic position discussed. Adult females of this new genus are distinguished from those of Agistemus by having four pairs of setae on the propodosomal shield, by lacking postocular bodies, by having three pairs of aggenital setae and by having two setae on genu II.

First records of Stigmaeidae (Acari, Prostigmata) from the Dominican Republic
Zoologiceskij zurnalFirst data on the mite family Stigmaeidae (Acari, Prostigmata) of the Dominican Republic are provided. Storchia cuneata Fan et Chen 1997 is recorded and redescribed from the Neotropical Region for the first time.

Herein we redefine the genus, redescribe the type species, C. aquaticus and describe a new species, C. durus from Florida, USA.

Notes on Teneriffiidae (Acarina: Prostigmata)
The Southwestern Naturalist, 1963Seven specimens of Neoteneriffiola uta Tibbettts are reported from Pampa, Texas, making the first record of this family of mites from Texas and only the second record from the United States. New taxonomic characters are introduced, the family diagnosis is revised, and the five genera and six species are keyed.

1996(Uploaded by Plazi for the Bat Literature Project) A review of the fauna of myobiid mites found on bats in Russia and adjacent countries is given. 27 species of mites belonging to 5 genera of the family Myobiidae were registered on bats in the fauna of Russia and adjacent countries. Of these, 13 mite species are new for the region.
