How Protective Is Protective Clothing?
Journal of Safety Research, 1986A standard method to evaluate the permeation resistance of protective clothing has been developed. This method has generated numerous data on the resistance of various clothing materials to specific chemicals. Three chemicals for which little data were available are formaldehyde, chlorine, and hydrogen cyanide.

Decontamination of Chemical Protective Clothing
AIHAJ, 1989This study explored decontamination procedures for removing some organic solvents from protective clothing. The permeation experiments were performed on new and decontaminated specimens in seven polymer/chemical pairs. The decontamination methods investigated were thermal decontamination and air drying at room temperatures followed by detergent washing.

Chemical permeation of protective clothing
