We investigated the relative importance of environmental and anthropogenic variables determining the distribution of Nile crocodiles to predict and mitigate the risks of human–crocodile conflicts. A better understanding of such variables will potentially prevent conflicts or even promote coexistence between crocodiles and humans.

This update examines exposure information for glyphosate in applicators and the general population published since 2020. The overall conclusions from these studies are that margins of exposure for applicators have not decreased since 2020 and still present de minimis risk.

Can long‐term diapause/dormancy improve persistence in a positively autocorrelated environment?
Populations with longer‐diapauses polymorphisms are more stable and persist for longer than those with shorter‐length polymorphisms. Longer‐diapause polymorphisms are increasingly advantageous in environments of increasing positive temporal autocorrelation.
