Beyond Leadership Skills: The Conditional Impact of Self‐Directed Protean Career Orientation on Leader Identity Formation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Training and Development, Volume 30, Issue 2, Page 166-178, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how leadership skills contribute to leader identity formation through prosocial impact at work and how this process is shaped by self‐directed protean career orientation (PCO). Drawing on the identity‐development spiral model, we conceptualize consideration and initiating structure as core leadership skills and examine ...

Transcriptomic analysis reveals the hepatic response mechanisms of the Chinese spiny frog (Quasipaa spinosa) to Citrobacter freundii infection

open access: yesJournal of the World Aquaculture Society, Volume 57, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract To elucidate the pathogen and host response mechanisms underlying mass mortality in Quasipaa spinosa, dominant bacteria were isolated from diseased individuals and identified as Citrobacter freundii by morphological, physiological, and biochemical characterization, 16S rRNA sequencing, and phylogenetic analysis.

Biocontrol for Shrimp Disease: Comprehensive Review and a Bacterial Disease Biocontrol Practice

open access: yesReviews in Aquaculture, Volume 18, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Biocontrol is a key strategy for disease control, as it is environmentally friendly and widely applicable. This review elaborates on biocontrol in aquaculture, particularly in shrimp culture. Biocontrol in shrimp culture mainly relies on four strategies: (i) direct kill pathogen by Bdellovibrio or bacteriophages; (ii) suppression of intestinal

Fosmidomycin for the Treatment of Canine Otitis Externa: A Randomised, Double‐Blinded, Controlled ‘Split Body’ Clinical Trial

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 3, Page 427-436, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Targeted antimicrobial therapy for canine otitis externa (OE) represents an opportunity for antimicrobial stewardship. Fosmidomycin selectively inhibits the non‐mevalonate pathway for isoprenoid biosynthesis utilised by canine‐adapted, and not human‐adapted, staphylococci.

Evaluation of Resorcinarene Trimer Methanesulfonate Aggregation in the Presence of Inorganic Salts and Biomolecules in Aqueous Solutions Using UV–vis Spectroscopy and Electrophoresis

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
UV–vis spectra of resorcinarene trimer methanesulfonate were identified in the presence of inorganic salts, choline, and bovine serum albumin. The origin of the peaks was identified. The absorption dynamic over the course of 5 days revealed that Na+ cations promote supramolecular aggregation while choline hinders it.
