The Role of miRNAs in Chicken Immune Regulation and Prospects for Disease‐Resistant Breeding

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
A schematic workflow illustrating the screening of disease‐resistant miRNAs and the generation of miRNA‐based disease‐resistant chickens via PGC‐mediated germline genome editing. ABSTRACT MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are emerging as pivotal regulators of the immune system, playing a decisive role in shaping disease resistance in chicken.

The T‐Cell Response Mechanism in Human Papillomavirus‐Associated Cervical Cancer and New Strategies for Immunotherapy

open access: yesiNew Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a double‐stranded DNA virus that infects human skin and mucosal tissues exclusively. The German scientist Harald zur Hausen was awarded the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the link between HPV infection and cervical cancer.

Oncogenic KRAS Rewires Stress Granule Dynamics: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Opportunities

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Stress granules (SGs) are dynamic, membrane‐less structures that form in response to various cellular stresses, including metabolic, oxidative, and therapeutic challenges. They function as adaptive hubs and reorganize protein synthesis and signaling networks to help cells survive under stress. In cancer, these condensates are often hijacked to

Update on Non‐Biological and RNA‐Based Therapeutics in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: Precision Medicine Through Small Molecules: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

Distinct Gene Expression Profiles of Ara h 2‐Specific B Cells in Desensitization and Tolerance During Peanut Oral Immunotherapy

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Gene expression of Ara h 2‐specific B cells over the course of the peanut OIT. Isotype of allergen‐specific B cells changes through OIT towards IgG4. Peanut OIT changes the gene expression of allergen‐specific memory B cells. OIT patients showed increased gene expression for regulatory B cells and immune regulation.

Histone deacetylase inhibitors as venetoclax‐sensitising partners in acute myeloid leukaemia: Mechanisms, pharmacology and translational perspectives

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract Venetoclax combined with hypomethylating agents has improved treatment for older or unfit patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but resistance and relapse remain common. This review analyses the rationale for combining venetoclax with inhibitors of histone deacetylase (HDAC).

Pleiotropic Roles of FBXO11 in Tumorigenesis: Implications for Targeted Therapy

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
This complex comprises of scaffold CUL1, SKP1, RBX1 and FBXO11 receptor. The substrate is phosphorylated by specific kinase enzyme and recognized by the substrate recognition domain. FBXO11 targets numerous substrates for ubiquitination and degradation, FBXO11 substrates mainly include Snail, ZEB1, p53, BCL6, CDT2, CIITA, Cdc25a, hnRNPA2B1, SAMD1 and ...

Extranodal Marginal Zone Lymphoma: Integrating Etiology, Microenvironment, and Genetics Into Clinical Decision‐Making

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Extranodal marginal zone lymphoma (EMZL) represents a unique paradigm among indolent B‐cell neoplasms, in which lymphomagenesis is frequently driven by chronic antigenic stimulation within tissue‐specific microenvironments. Persistent infectious or autoimmune triggers promote the development of ectopic lymphoid tissue and sustain B‐cell ...

Genomic profiling of Mexican patients with B‐cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia reveals clinically significant somatic and potential germline variants

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
Abstract B‐cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (preB‐ALL) is characterized by pathogenic variants currently used in precision oncology. However, the mutational landscape of Mexican children with preB‐ALL has not yet been thoroughly explored and defined in terms of the clinical significance.

DNA Replication Stress‐Induced Transcriptome of Human Burkitt's Lymphoma Identifies Reciprocal Regulation Between MBD1 and BCL6 During Germinal Center‐Derived B‐Lymphomagenesis

open access: yesHematological Oncology, Volume 44, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT BCL6 is a master transcriptional regulator of germinal center (GC) B cells. BCL6 is frequently translocated at the major translocation cluster (MTC) within intron 1 of the BCL6 locus, a hotspot commonly rearranged in diffuse large B cell lymphomas (DLBCLs).
